The Front Desk Staff was Amazing! I love being acknowledged and appreciated and they did not disappoint! Everything available to me was explained with patience and detail. When I pulled up the valet guy was smiling as he greeted me and offered to help with my luggage. This trip was short but really made me comfortable traveling again. Middle floors seem like the best bet but all in all, its not the quietest hotel. On lower floors where the bunk rooms are you will hear lots of party people coming home at the end of their night, but it quiets down after midnight. Top floor and lower floors will have a lot of ambient noise - music from the rooftop on the upper level will be loud. The space is limited and there are a lot of non-guests on the property to visit the bars, better leave the littles at home. Not the place to stay with children, period. As I mentioned before, specialty cocktails are delicious and bar service was top-notch. I went down to the bar and to check out the restaurant the next night and both were gorgeous. We were 3 women, 40-50s, sober and simply dressed, so whatever his internal calculus of our desirability as guests, it left us feeling hurt and pooped on. After that is was ”We are at capacity for the night, go the rooftop” delivered in something of a tone. When he stopped us from entering it was with the words: ” And where do you think you're going?” which in and of itself is a pretty big buzzkill. We wanted to see the bar and maybe get a snack to go, and the attitude didn't seem in keeping with the theme of hospitality and welcome we felt elsewhere on the property. If there was a sour note at all, it was being refused entry to the restaurant on our first night by a doorman who seemed a bit strident in his desire to control entry.

But after day 2 I parked on the street within a 2 min walk of the property for free and had zero trouble. Valet parking is 40 a night, so factor it in if you need that service. It was REALLY easy to get around, meet friends find cool places and load up on necessities. This place is super-central to everything in Atlanta and has great highway access for daytrips outside the metro. You will need a car, but everything you could want is a few minutes away. The bar and restaurant downstairs were beautiful, and specialty cocktails were really good. At night it filled up and then some, and was a younger crowd. The Rooftop Bar had a summer camp feel to it and was quiet during the day. Communication was easy and housekeeping was efficient and friendly. Decor is lovely, and the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby cafe were delicious. I didn't know what to expect but in all candor, this place was beautiful. 4.07km from Quickshot Shooting Range I booked the cheapest bunk room through a 3rd party site based on reviews and accessibility.
